Viewing Facilities and Us
Support
Service & Repair
Solutions that work for your viewing facility.
However good your system is things just go wrong sometimes! Equipment fails, gets damaged or just wears out. We know the industry well and full appreciate what it is like when there is a room full of clients, the respondents in place and the moderator is about to start and a Microphone or Camera fails. We may not be able to repair it then and there, but we may be able to suggest a workaround and will be there ASAP to get you back working.
Routine Maintenance
One way to lessen the possibility of a failure is to have a regular inspection of your system. Your DVR’s, VCR’s, etc. suck in dirt and dust that will eventually cause it to overheat and could result in damage. Tape heads need cleaning properly even cabinets need dusting out. As a rule at our first visit we will make a note of all interconnections and control positions.
It may seem simple but a number of sites we have visited have needed their mirrors cleaning. The correct cleaning solution must be used as the incorrect one can damage the seal on a sealed unit.
This of part of an extension to a system,
the board is installed in a riser cupboard
This 19” rack shown was put together for a client that needed to use their equipment offsite for one specific clients.
Small Business Server installed along with a 1Gbt CAT5 backbone and ADSL Modem and site specific spares.
A special modification where the client wanted the Stereo Microphone away from the portable recorder.
Here the clients originally had their Microphones mounted against the ceiling.
We made this bracket to bring the Microphone heads down to the correct distance from the ceiling and to the correct distance apart.
All equipment in the rack is labelled where needed
Tools and rack etc boxed ready for transport
The back of a Rack
Tools and test equipment onsite
Mind your back !
A 60” TV/Monitor about to be taken up 3
floors to be used instead of a mirror
We like to call this our “Standard Rack” but in reality all are altered to suite individual clients
The “Client Rack” the local Amplifier which can be locked to stop Clients “adjusting” the volume etc.
A Little More About Us !
Our equipment
We try and supply the same equipment - unless our client specifies one particular make. With some years experience we have found the balance between the most cost effective and reliable equipment. To date we have not had the necessity to replace any piece of equipment that we have supplied and installed.
You need to be able to rely upon the equipment we supply. It needs to have the quality you need and be easy enough to operate by any of your staff. We consider this is so with the equipment we specify.
